Joynes has denied all charges.

The teacher was snapped walking into Manchester Crown Court with her father, clutching a purple notepad and a baby bonnet.

The allegations relate to her relationship with two students - identified as Boy A and Boy B - whilst a teacher at a Greater Manchester School, including one whom she fell pregnant with while awaiting trial on bail.

Joynes later gave birth to a daughter she had with Boy B.On Monday, giving evidence for the first time she told the court she had struggled during Covid restrictions and with the breakdown of a nine-year relationship but maintained she never had sex with two teenage boys as a teacher.

Yesterday, Joynes was also spotted with something pink up her sleeve - which she said in court was a baby's bonnet.

The court previously heard how the baby girl was "taken off” her and is now cared for by her teenage father.

Joynes also told the court: “I let my guard down. I caved in to the attention he was giving me. I was lonely and liked the attention.”She also denied having a “powerful sexual attraction to boys aged 15”.

The former teacher allegedly started a relationship with the boy - known as Boy B - while he was still at school when she became “lonely” after the breakdown of her long term relationship.

The defendant gave evidence and admitted to the court she started messaging Boy B after she had already been arrested and suspended in October 2021 - over allegations in relation to a first boy, Boy A.

Joynes told the jury that Boy B added her on WhatsApp and she’d believed he “genuinely cared” about her welfare.

She denied their relationship had quickly turned sexual after she allegedly sent him a photo of her bum and he’d messaged her saying: “Get your t*** out."

It’s alleged they first had sex after the boy had gone to her flat and watched a Manchester United v Middlesbrough FA cup tie in February 2022.

Joynes denied this and said she’d initially seen the boy as her “best friend”, although he’d later joked about them meeting up, sending her a message saying he’d “left school” alongside a “winky face” emoji.

She admitted they did eventually have sex after she was dismissed from her job in July 2022 and it’s claimed they had sex around 30 times.

The jury heard she became pregnant by Boy B - with her breaking the news to him during a “date night" at her flat.

She presented him with a babygrow - and she went on to have a baby girl in January.

But Joynes became emotional during court proceedings on Monday as she revealed the child was “taken off me 24 hours after she was born” and she was only allowed limited contact.

Joynes claimed the boy’s behaviour had become increasingly “flirtatious” towards her but admitted she should never have allowed him to start messaging her.

“I was really stupid and shouldn’t have done it,” she told the court.

She said had agreed to let him stay over at her apartment after the shopping trip but insisted he sleep on the couch.

Joynes said the schoolboy had told her: “I think you know what I want to do now.”

But she said she’d made it clear they wouldn’t have sex.A police investigation was launched in October 2021 and Joynes was subsequently arrested and bailed on the condition she did not contact any child under 18.

Joynes denies any sexual activity took place, has pleaded not guilty to six charges of sexual activity with two teenagers while she was a teacher and is on trial at Manchester Crown Court
