Israeli forces believe Hamas holding hostages in maze of tunnels beneath Gaza City

Israeli forces believe that Hamas terrorists are holding the hostages from its Oct. 7 attack in the maze of tunnels beneat Gaza City, the region's largest population center.

Fox News foreign correspondent Trey Yingst said Monday that the IDF confirmed to him that it is their belief that a large number of the hostages remain under the city. Israeli forces could soon enter Gaza City and begin operations to clear out the tunnels, a daunting and deadly task.

Hamas took more than 240 hostages during its Oct. 7 massacre in Israel and has released only a handful.
