An unhinged man stabbed and wounded a stranger during a wild Bronx street fight, then fled on a bicycle, cops said Wednesday.
The 29-year-old victim was on East Tremont Ave. near White Plains Road in Parkchester just before noon Saturday when he got into a fight with the stranger.
As the two began throwing punches, the assailant pulled a knife and started hacking away at the victim, cutting him in the chest, arms and legs.
He then jumped on a bike and pedaled off eastbound on E. Tremont Ave., officials said.
Medics rushed the victim to St. Barnabas Hospital, where he was listed in stable condition.
No arrests have been made.
Cops on Wednesday released a surveillance image of the suspect in the hopes that someone recognizes him.
He is described as black and between 20 and 30. He was wearing a dark-colored shirt, red shorts and a red hat.
Anyone with information is asked to call Crime Stoppers at (800) 577-TIPS.
