A man who was confronted at a Michigan Dollar Tree store about not wearing a mask and responded by wiping his nose on an employee’s shirt was arrested Tuesday.
Surveillance video showed the man walking around the store without a mask on before walking over to the employee and wiping his nose and face on her sleeve.
According to the Holly Police Department, the man entered the store on May 2 around 1:30 p.m. without a mask despite multiple signs, including at the entrance, informing customers that masks were required in the store.
After he was confronted, the suspect allegedly said “Here, I will use this as a mask” before wiping his nose and face on the woman’s sleeve.
According to police, a tip from a member of the public led to the arrest of the suspect who is expected to be arraigned Tuesday. Police have not yet released the man’s identity.
