Man, 48, shot dead on quiet Staten Island street

The slaying, the first of the year in the NYPD’s 121st Precinct, happened on Bradley Ave. near Harold St. in Manor Heights about 10:25 p.m. Wednesday .

A 48-year-old man was shot dead on a quiet Staten Island street, police said Thursday.

The slaying, the first of the year in the NYPD’s 121st Precinct, happened on Bradley Ave. near Harold St. in Manor Heights about 10:25 p.m. Wednesday .

The victim and shooter were arguing moments before the killer opened fire, hitting the victim a number of times in the upper body, cops said.

EMTs rushed the victim to Staten Island University Hospital North but he could not be saved.

The victim’s name was not immediately released.
