How many seats are left? Here's where the House stands now

 While Republicans have clinched the White House and flipped the Senate, unified control for the GOP remains a question as votes in House races continue to be counted.

There are 23 House races that have not yet been projected.

Republicans are six seats away from holding on to the majority, while Democrats are 18 seats away from taking the chamber.

Republicans will win the US Senate majority, a victory for the party that has been locked out of the majority in the chamber since 2021. With several races still to be declared, Republicans will have at least 52 seats in the chamber.

The race has not been called in Arizona, Pennsylvania and Nevada.
