HORROR DISCOVERY Woman and child are found dead inside house in Bodmin as cops probe ‘unexplained’ deaths

 A WOMAN and child have been found dead inside a house - with cops treating their deaths as "unexplained".

Emergency services rushed to the Fletchersbridge area of Bodmin, Cornwall, at around 10.10am on Saturday.

Cops had received a reportt of a concern for welfare, before having to give a woman and a child emergency medical treatment.

But both the woman and the child were confirmed dead at the scene, Devon and Cornwall Police says.

Formal identification remains ongoing, but their next of kin have been informed and are being supported by specially trained cops.

No one else is being sought in connection with the two deaths, which are believed to be an isolated case.Detective Inspector Neil Blanchard said: “This is a tragic and incredibly sad incident."

Blanchard added: "The deaths are currently being treated as unexplained.

"We are investigating them to establish the full circumstances of what occurred.

"I would like to reassure the community that this is being treated as an isolated incident.

"At this time we are not seeking anyone else in connection to the deaths
