DESPERATE SEARCH CCTV shows last sighting of missing girl, 12, who disappeared from Kent high street as hunt enters second day

 NEW CCTV footage has revealed the last known sighting of a missing girl, 12, as the search to find her continues into its second day.

Cops launched a desperate hunt for Katie Spice, who was last seen in High Street, Sittingbourne, Kent, at around 4pm on Sunday.

The new image shows Katie wearing a pink top, black leggings and white shoes.

It is understood the footage was captured at Canterbury East railway station shortly after 5pm on Sunday.

Kent Police said CCTV showed the 12-year-old getting off a train at the station around an hour after she was reported missing.

She is described as 5ft, 2ins tall, of slim build and has long black hair and brown eyes.

A spokesperson from the force said: "Officers searching for a missing girl from Sittingbourne have released a CCTV image believed to show her in Canterbury.

"Katie Spice was reported missing after last being seen in Sittingbourne High Street at 4pm on Sunday 11 August.

"Police have now released a CCTV image believed to show Katie getting off a train at Canterbury East railway station shortly after 5pm that day.

"The 12-year-old is described as 5ft, 2ins tall, of slim build and has long black hair and brown eyes."The CCTV image shows her in white footwear, black leggings and a pink top."
