CHILLING CLIP Watch gang of teen yobs dance with MACHETE in sick celebration after storming train station & shooting victim
THIS is the sick moment a gang of teen yobs danced with a machete moments after storming a train station and shooting their victim.
Elisandro Pinto Alves, Hanzell Greenaway, Jaheim Thomas and Marvin Edokpolo attempted to murder a 20-year-old man at Hackney Central railway station in March last year.
Video footage found on the phone of one of the teenagers showed the gang rapping and dancing about the attack while brandishing a weapon.
Snaresbrook Crown Court heard how the victim was on board a train heading to Hackney on March 1, 2023, at around 1.10pm.
During his journey, Edokpolo, 19, was made aware the victim was on board the train and heading into the Hackney area of London.
Edokpolo proceeded to contact Greenaway, 18, who was with Thomas and Pinto Alves in a McDonald's close to Hackney station.Following their conversation, the trio left McDonald's and headed to the station.
Pinto Alves, 18, Greenaway, and Thomas arrived at Hackney Central railway station and began looking for the victim.
He had just left the train and called down the lift on the ground level platform.
A 64-year-old woman entered the lift on the overbridge to travel to the ground level.While the victim waited, he was made aware of the three teenagers approaching him and withdrew a knife.
CCTV footage showed the moment Greenaway began slashing his own knife towards him in broad daylight.
Behind them, the lift doors then opened and the victim retreated into the lift where the woman was.
As she attempted to avoid the slashing knife in the small lift, the victim was stabbed.
The victim pushed Greenaway out of the lift, however he was stabbed again.
He managed to get himself back to the lift as the two other teenagers approached - Pinto Alves with a knife slashing at the victim and Thomas with a gun.
Thomas, 18, proceeded to shoot into the lift while the victim used the woman as a shield.
The gang of teenagers then fled the station on bikes.
Armed British Transport Police officers arrived on the scene within minutes followed shortly by London Ambulance Service.
The victim sustained life-threatening injuries from the attack, including multiple laceration wounds and a single gunshot to the leg.
The woman was physically unharmed.Pinto Alves, Greenaway, Thomas and Edokpolo were sentenced to a total of more than 77 years on August 7.
The judge ordered for the men to serve two thirds of their sentences with the remainder on license.
