ALL GOODY Jade Goody’s rarely seen son Freddie Brazier, 19, makes TV debut alongside dad Jeff on popular BBC1 show
JADE GOODY’S youngest son Freddie Brazier makes his TV debut tonight, alongside dad Jeff in Celebrity Race Across The World.
And his father hopes it will give the pair time to bond after admitting he rarely sees his son — despite living in the same house together.
On tonight’s opening episode of the BBC One show’s second series, TV host Jeff says: “The thing I’m most looking forward to is I feel like I’m going to learn a lot more about my son.
“He isn’t at home loads and as a result I don’t see loads of him, but the beauty of this trip is that he’s with me and he can’t shake me off.”
Jeff also alluded to some unrest between the pair in the build-up to the show, with Freddie admitting he’s “not the best decision-maker”.
Jeff says to him: “One of those moments was last night when you should have been packing for our trip but instead you travelled to see a girl in Birmingham. Classic Fred.”Freddie, whose older brother Bobby is in EastEnders, has yet to decide his career path. He said: “Right now I’m figuring out what I’m going to do with my life.
"I think that’s quite tough. Who is Freddie Brazier? I don’t know, but I hope the race will help me find who I am.”
Freddie was just four when his mum Jade lost her battle with cancer in March 2009, aged 27.
The Braziers take on three other celebrity duos in the race across the world, where contestants have to navigate a 12,500km journey without the aid of smartphones and bank cards. They are up against model Kelly Brook and her husband Jeremy Parisi, Radio 2 DJ Scott Mills and his husband Sam Vaughan, and Ted Lasso’s Kola Bokinni and his cousin Mary Ellen.

The race starts in northern Brazil and the contestants will travel the length of South America to reach the finish line in the Andes mountains in southern Chile
MARVIN: WE’RE A BIG HIT
Marvin and Rochelle Humes are proving quiz show The Hit List is a, err, big hit.
The pop star couple will kick off the seventh series on the BBC One this Saturday.
Marvin added: “Times have changed, but we love it. Everyone said when we first started, ‘Are you sure this is a good idea?’ I’m like, ‘Yeah, why?’. Seven series later, we’re still getting on.”
Celebs including Angela Scanlon, Jedward, Layton Williams, Rick Edwards and Joe Sugg will take part in a Hit List special.
It’s a far cry from Marvin’s early days in JLS when the couple loved a big afterparty.
Mum-of-three Rochelle recalled: “There used to be parties backstage with alcohol in abundance, but (on the recent JLS reunion tour) we had a soft play area because there were so many kids.”
The Hit List returns on Saturday, BBC One at 6.20pm.
COMIC AHIR SHAH has become the latest Brit to land a Netflix special, with the streaming of his show Ends, filmed at London’s Royal Court Theatre earlier this year.
He follows Phil Wang, also appearing on Netflix, while trans comic Jordan Gray has a special on Channel 4.
WANT TO DATE A COUPLE?
“SEX-POSITIVE” couples are being sought for what Channel 4 is describing as the raunchiest show on TV.
Open House: The Great Sex Experiment is back following its first two bonk-filled seasons, where curious couples explored open relationships.
Producers are now seeking more couples keen to romp with other like-minded individuals, as well as singletons curious to try dating a duo.
Commissioning editor Tim Hancock said: “Reflecting the growing trend of non-monogamy in an authentic, aspirational and sometimes shockingly frank way, Open House is the kind of show that can only sit on Channel 4.
“I can’t wait to discover who’s coming to the house this time around.”
REUNION WILL BE BLINDER
LOVE Is Blind UK will do a one-off reunion show after the final episodes drop next week.
Hosted by husband-and-wife duo Matt and Emma Willis, the Netflix special will air on August 26.
Love Is Blind UK has seen a batch of singletons going on dates as each searches for a future spouse. And while viewers are yet to see how it ends, Netflix has confirmed the gang will be reunited in a room to lay all bare.
It is expected to be very dramatic, with the relationship fall-outs on full display.
A synopsis teases: “It will reunite the cast for the first time since their ‘I do’ or ‘I don’t’ moments. They’ll look back on their time in the experiment and answer all our burning questions.”
Elsewhere on Netflix, hit sci-fi drama Supacell has been approved for a second run, with Rapman returning to tell the story of five black people unified by sickle cell disease – and superpowers.
DAVID’S DOUBLE TROUBLE
DAVID MITCHELL will see his life turned upside down in new cop comedy drama Ludwig.
And if this first-look snap is anything to go by, things don’t appear to be going smoothly when it comes to cracking the biggest puzzle of his life.
The comedian plays reclusive puzzle-setter John “Ludwig” Taylor, who has his life of solitude ruined with the disappearance of his twin brother without a trace.
Assuming his brother’s identity, David’s character goes undercover in the hope of tracking him down.
But unlike Ludwig, James is no hermit – but a proud family man and a DCI in a major investigations team.
David will be joined by Landscapers’ Dipo Ola as Di Russell Carter, Suspicion’s Gerran Howell as DC Simon Evans and Izuka Hoyle as DS Alice Finch.Guest stars include Rose Ayling-ellis, Karl Pilkington and Derek Jacobi.
