Nancy Pelosi says she knows firsthand 'political violence of any kind has no place in our society'

Rep. Nancy Pelosi, referring to the attack on her husband, said she knows firsthand that "political violence of any kind has no place in our society" after the assassination attempt on former President Trump at his rally in Pennsylvania, adding that she is glad he is safe.

"As one whose family has been the victim of political violence, I know firsthand that political violence of any kind has no place in our society," Pelosi wrote on X. "I thank God that former President Trump is safe."
