Chance played Ambrose Spellman in Chilling Adventures of Sabrina, a reboot of Sabrina the Teenage Witch, and Andre Anderson in Gen V, a spinoff from The Boys.

He died as a result of a motorcycle accident, his representatives told The Hollywood Reporter in a statement.

"His passion for the arts and insatiable appetite for life was felt by all who knew him, and his warmth will carry on in those who he loved dearest," a statement from his reps said.

"We ask to please respect the family’s wish for privacy as they mourn the loss of their beloved son and brother."

Nobody else was involved in the accident.

DUAL CITIZEN

Chance was born in Los Angeles, California, but moved to Southampton in the county of Hampshire, England as a child.

He would go on to hold both British and American citizenship, and starred in movies and television shows in both countries.

Chance was nominated for a BAFTA for his performance in 2018’s Killed by My Debt.

He also appeared as Landon in the romance films After We Fell, After Ever Happy and After Everything in 2021, 2022 and 2023.

Most recently, he starred in Prime Video’s Gen V in the role of Andre Anderson, a popular student/super hero in-training with magnetic manipulation capabilities.

ON HOLD

After word of his death, production on the second season of the series was put on hold.

"We can’t quite wrap our heads around this. For those of us who knew him and worked with him, Chance was always charming and smiling, an enthusiastic force of nature, an incredibly talented performer, and more than anything else, just a very kind, lovely person," the show’s producer shared in a statement to Deadline.

"Even writing about him in the past tense doesn’t make sense. We are so sorry for Chance’s family, and we are grieving the loss of our friend and colleague. Hug your loved ones tonight."

Amazon MGM Studios and Sony Pictures Television added, "The entire Gen V family is devastated by the sudden passing of Chance Perdomo.

HAUNTING POST

Chance celebrated his bike in one of his final social media posts.

Taking to Instagram earlier this month, he shared a series of photos in various locations.

In one, he relaxed on a couch, while another was a selfie taken in front of a mirror.

The third snap in the carousel post was a stock photo of a motorcycle.

He captioned it, "Day 77. Final calm before storm," adding the hashtag "back on the road."
