BIG BOTHER Blow for ITV bosses as top star turns down Celebrity Big Brother after ‘intense’ talks

ONE of ITV's top stars has turned down Celebrity Big Brother - in a disappointing blow to bosses.

Olivia Attwood had been top of the channel's cast wish-list after her early exit from I'm A Celebrity in 2022.

Talks were underway to snap up the former Love Island star turned documentary-maker who has a massive fan base.

But Olivia, who recently became a new Loose Women panellist, is said to have strled to commit to doing CBB because of her hectic work schedule.

A TV insider told The Sun: "Olivia has it all when it comes to being the perfect reality TV star.

"She's got the beauty, brains and no-nonsense attitude that would make for incredible television.

"Celebrity Big Brother seemed like the perfect fit for her after she missed out on her full I'm A Celebrity experience.

"Olivia was really keen to take part, but her incredibly busy diary means it's proved impossible to commit to going in the famous House.

Olivia was removed from the I'm A Celebrity camp after 24 hours following a dramatic dash to A&E.

"ITV bosses are gutted, but never say never... She could be a housemate next time around."

She was later given a fresh bill of health at the hospital, but her jungle journey was over.

Since then Olivia has focused on making her ITVX documentaries, including Olivia Attwood: Getting Filthy Rich, Olivia Attwood vs The Trolls and Olivia Attwood: The Price of Perfection.

She also filmed the run-up to her wedding to footballer Bradley Dack, which aired on Olivia Marries Her Match.

Celebrity Big Brother bosses have already signed Kate Middleton's uncle, Gary Goldsmith, and Dragon's Den contestant Levi Roots.

The series is set to kick off next month, with returning hosts AJ Odudu and Will Best.

An ITV spokesman said of the would-be CBB signing: "Any names are at this point pure speculation and viewers will have to tune to see who will be entering the Celebrity Big Brother house."
