Bahrain recalls ambassador to Israel, cuts off economic ties amid war on Hamas

The government of Bahrain has recalled its ambassador to Israel and has cut off all economic ties with the country amid the ongoing war against Hamas.

Fox News foreign correspondent Trey Yingst reported to move early Thursday morning. Israel has faced ramping pressure from its Arab neighbors to halt its retaliatory war against Hamas. While Iran and its proxies have outright attacked Israel, Jordan and Bahrain are among the first to take diplomatic action.

Leaders in Iraq, Syria, Jordan and a prominent school in Egypt all condemned Israel's war on Hamas just days after Hamas' own unprecedented massace in Israel, which left over 1,400 people dead.

Hamas is believed to have taken some 242 hostages back into Gaza. Meanwhile, Israeli airstrikes and ground operations have killed thousands in Gaza.
