MADONNA faces a fine of £300,000 after she breached a strict gig curfew at the weekend.
The Papa Don’t Preach star was forced to cut her set short on Sunday night after technical issues.
But she still overran the 10.30pm curfew by 30 minutes at the O2 Arena and could be hit with a £300,000 penalty.
Queen of Pop Madonna, 65, performed a 140-minute set on Saturday night as she launched her Celebration world tour.
But on Sunday she didn’t make it on stage until 9pm — with the concert ending at 11pm amid warnings fans may miss the last Tube trains.
Hits including Like a Virgin and Celebration were axed. leaving gig-goers gutted.One posted: “How dare the b******s at the O2 cut Madonna short.”
Curfew rules drawn up by the arena’s operators AEG and Transport for London include fines of £10,000 a minute.
Greenwich Council said its midnight curfew wan’t broken.
A spokesman said: “We do not intend to investigate.”
