It's not all bad news though as the actress has another comedy drama hitting the Beeb soon

AN actor's BBC comedy show has been axed after two series - just month's after her other programme was canned.

The star, 45, wrote and starred in the show which followed her character's life after being released from prison.

British Comedy Guide first reported the axing, with Daisy herself confirming the news.

She told the Out to Lunch podcast: "It feels really sad to kill Back To Life because I love Back To Life. But I think the story is done.

"I've got so many things I want to do, I've got two or three film ideas that I'm really excited about."

The BBC also confirmed the show had been dropped from the schedule.

It comes after Daisy's other Sky TV show Breeders was brought to an end after four series.

She starred alongside Martin Freeman as they played struggling parents trying to balance their full-time careers and children.

However, there's good news as her comedy drama Boat Story will be hitting the Beeb soon.

A second series of the show is already even in development.
