MUM'S FURY My daughter Becky Watts, 16, was killed by stepbrother’s partner Shauna Hoare – I’m fuming she’s been released from jail

A WOMAN jailed alongside her twisted boyfriend for the murder of 16-year-old Becky Watts has been released from prison.

Shauna Hoare was freed on licence this week after serving eight-and-a-half years of her 17-year sentence for manslaughter.

Becky's dismembered body was discovered on March 3, 2015

Shauna Hoare was freed on licence this week after serving eight-and-a-half of her 17-year sentence for Becky's murder

Her then-boyfriend Nathan Matthews, 29, was jailed for 33 years for murdering his step-sister in a "sexually-motivated" kidnap plot.

Becky was last seen alive at her home in St George, Bristol, on February 19, 2015.

She had been suffocated in her bedroom by Matthews and Hoare before her body was put in the boot of their car.

They later drove it to their flat and dismembered the body with a knife and circular saw.

The evil duo kept Becky's remains in bags and boxes, hiding them in a neighbours shed.

Becky's dismembered body was discovered on March 3 close to the Barton Hill flat where Matthews and Hoare lived. The pair were arrested and later jailed.

Following Hoare's release, Becky’s mother Tanya said she had been dreading this day for years and feels helpless.

Speaking to BristolLive, she said: "The main feeling is anger, I’m so angry, but what can I do?

"I don’t want her to feel like she’s free to walk down the street without a care in the world, after what she did. I think she’s cold and evil.

"The worst thing for me is that Becky trusted her and what eats away at me is when I remember all those times when I would ring Becky and Shauna would answer and she was so sweet, and for a few seconds sometimes I would mistake her for Becky.

“She’s not even 30, she’s got her whole life ahead of her and she’s got a future, whereas when we go to talk to our daughter, we’re talking to the ground."

While in prison, Hoare had an affair with arsonist Bernie Chance and planned to marry her.

During her incarceration at HMP Bronzefield in Surrey, Hoare was reportedly beaten so badly she had to be resuscitated twice.

As part of her release conditions, the killer is reportedly not allowed to return to Bristol.

Home Office officials will give no details of the arrangements for Hoare’s release into the community.
