Video seems to shows Russia's top general in first open commitment since Wagner uprising

Russia's Service of Safeguard has distributed video that seems to show top armed force general Valery Gerasimov talking on Sunday — his most memorable public appearance since the bombed Wagner rebellion last month.

In a post close by the Wire video, the safeguard service said Gerasimov, who seldom discloses appearances, was paying attention to a report on Ukraine's supposed endeavors to strike focuses in Crimea.

"Armed force General Valeriy Gerasimov, leader of the gathering of troops, heard a report by Colonel working together Broad Viktor Afzalov, Head of Staff of the Air and Space Powers, on the obliteration of four Ukrainian ballistic focuses on," the service said, a clear reference to Gerasimov's situation as the commandant of Russian soldiers in Ukraine.
CNN can't autonomously check when the video was shot.

For a really long time, questions have twirled over the whereabouts of Russia's top commanders including Gerasimov, following Wagner boss Yevgeny Prigozhin's brief defiance.

Last month, the Money Road Diary revealed that Western authorities accepted Prigozhin intended to catch Gerasimov and Safeguard Clergyman Sergei Shoigu. When gotten some information about the WSJ report, two European security sources let CNN know that while it was probable Prigozhin would truly want to catch Russian military pioneers, there was no evaluation regarding whether he had a well conceived plan to do as such.
