EMILY Atack has fuelled rumours she's secretly back with her ex-boyfriend Liam as they celebrated his birthday together.

Actress Emily, 33, recently shared a snap of Liam McGough, 38, who now works as a tree surgeon, and wished him a happy birthday.

He's now posted a group snap from his party, which shows the former Inbetweeners star celebrating with his friends.

Emily flashed a beaming smile while carrying a small dog, as she posed behind the birthday boy.

But it's not the first time she left fans wondering if she's back with her ex.

Emily shared a snap of Liam, and publicly wished him a happy birthday ahead of his bash.

It looked as though she had taken the photo of Liam as he played guitar.

"Happy birthday to my best friend," she wrote before adding a selection of food and drink emoijs.

The couple split up in October last year after a seven-month romance.

It was a serious relationship between the two of them, he was introduced to her family and the pair were inseparable.

A source told The Sun: "Emily and Liam have been friends for a long time and were together for seven months, but sadly have decided to separate.

"They kept their relationship private for a while and only went public when the news broke that they were together.

"Sadly, they decided they were better off as friends and parted ways a few days ago, but it's all very amicable."

Liam came third on Big Brother in 2000, but then returned to his work as a tree surgeon.

Emily, who found fame as Charlotte Hinchcliffe in Channel 4 comedy The Inbetweeners, had previously been linked to Man City’s Jack Grealish.
