Inside shadowy ‘Hangar 18’ on US Air Force base which holds ‘UFO debris from Roswell & alien dead bodies’

UFO enthusiasts believe a mysterious US military base is secretly storing alien bodies and crashed flying saucers.

The bizarre rumours surrounding the so-called Hanger 18 at Ohio's Wright-Patterson Air Force Base have been swirling since the 1940s.

Conspiracy theorists claim that physical evidence of UFOs is stored by Washington inside a shadowy warehouse at the base.

They insist debris of flying saucers, alien bodies and even extraterrestrials which are still alive are held in the building.

There is also allegedly a sealed and guarded room dubbed 'The Blue Room' within Hangar 18 where the psychical evidence is supposedly kept.

The name Blue Room was inspired by Project Blue Book - which was the official US government inquiry into dozens of UFO sightings.

Starting in 1952 and ending in 1969, the investigation was based at Wright-Patterson.

Many of the theories surrounding Hanger 18 stem from the infamous crash near Roswell New Mexico. In 1947, the Roswell Army Air Field issued a press release saying they had found a "flying disc" which had crashed nearby.

Yet, a subsequent statement was then issued by an Air Force base in Fort Worth, Texas refuting the previous release insisting a weather balloon had fallen to the ground.

Officials later admitted in 1994 that a Cold War spy device had crashed in Roswell - a claim which did nothing to satisfy the conspiracy theorists.

The alien enthusiasts believe debris from the supposed UFO crash was transported to Hanger 18 and continues to be held there today.

These claims stem from unsubstantiated reports from ex-pilots who worked at the base.

The first is Oliver Henderson who reportedly told his wife that he flew the plane loaded with Roswell debris.

According to the story, he told his partner the aircraft was also carrying several small alien bodies.

Another story comes from the kids of WWII veteran Marion 'Black Mac' Macgruder.

They claim their father told them he saw a living alien at the Ohio base in 1947.

It is claimed he told his family "it was a shameful thing that the military destroyed this creature by conducting tests on it."

Republican Senator Barry Goldwater reportedly said he tried to get into the Blue Room in the early 1960s but was stopped by a General on Wright-Patterson.

In 1974, science fiction author Robert Spencer Carr claimed the military was holding “two flying saucers of unknown origin” inside Hangar 18, reported the Tampa Tribune.

Carr said he had a high-ranking source within the Army who saw 12 alien bodies which were being operated on at the base.

His claims inspired a 1980 movie called Hanger 18.

The government and the Air Force has always strongly denied the rumours about the base.

They even insist there is no Hanger 18 despite there being a Building 18.

In 1985, the military released a statement saying: “Periodically, it is erroneously stated that the remains of extraterrestrial visitors are or have been stored at Wright-Patterson Air Force Base.

“There are not now, nor have there ever been, any extraterrestrial visitors or equipment on Wright-Patterson Air Force Base.”
