FAMILIES in a sleepy Kent village were left furious after hundreds of revellers gatecrashed an £800-a-night Airbnb for an illegal all-night rave.

Cops were called to the four-bed family home in picturesque Bearsted, near Maidstone, after a brawl broke out during the party.

It's believed the home, which boasts a jacuzzi and a movie room, was hired out for the wild bash - despite the listing stating no parties are allowed.

The property sleeps up to 10 people - but neighbours say hundreds turned up for the rave.

And they were left raging when thumping music was played between 10pm and 5am the following day.

Residents say they called police three times - but officers only arrived when they heard a fight had broken out.

One neighbour told KentOnline of her anger at the party, which happened in a "lovely, quiet, family street".

"Nothing like this ever happens down here - it's just unheard of," she said.

"The house is being rented on Airbnb, and they advertise it as maximum 10 people, so obviously they were unaware this was going to happen.

"But these people just descended on the place, and just kept coming all night long.

"It was just thumping music all night long, shouting. It was just horrendous.

"Our road and another road next to ours were just full of cars, and people were walking up and down."

And she said one young man was battered in the brawl.

“There was a fight that kicked off. There was blood," she said.

"I don't know what happened to the poor lad who was on the floor."

Officers in five marked cars, along with police dogs, rushed to the property after the fight was reported.

It comes after yobs trashed an Airbnb in one of Britain's priciest streets during a 60-strong illegal party.

Police were called to a £2million home in Sandbanks after neighbours complained in March.Officers said they found dozens at the bash and eventually managed to clear them out by coach at 4.30am.

The shocked home owner, who asked not to be named, had rented out his luxury pad for two nights for £1,400 to a couple based in Reading, Berks.

He told The Sun: "This couple hoodwinked me completely."
