Vile pranksters have been spotted on camera throwing dead animals at homes and onto driveways in a late-night attack.
Shocked residents in the St Nicolas Park area of Nuneaton, Warwickshire woke up to find the disturbing sight of rabbit corpses strewn across their roads.
Late night CCTV footage shows a group of four men pull up in a car outside one home before launching several dead animals at the property and then driving off.
Neighbourhood Watch volunteers for Nuneaton and Bedworth say several homes were targeted with the remains of rabbits, hares and pheasants.
The community crime-fighters added that the police are aware and are now investigating the horrific incident.
'We have been made aware of a significant amount of dead wildlife appearing overnight in the St Nicolas area,' the group said in a Facebook post.

'Animals such as rabbits, hares and pheasants have been found on several drives across a number of streets.
'They appear to have been placed rather than thrown or via natural occurence.
'At this time it is not known how they died.'

'If the animals are on your property, place them in a black bin liner, use gloves, and place them out of reach of other animals until the police get back to you,' the post reads.
'If they are found on public land, report them to the council. Do not put them in your black bin.'
Police are investigating and anyone who has any information about who is responsible should call Warwickshire Police on 101 and ask to be referred to the wildlife crime officer.
