Tributes are paid to 'kind, genuine and funny' homeowner, 47, who was killed when chimney smashed through roof into his bedroom at 5am in high winds

Tributes have been paid to a 'kind, genuine and funny' man who was killed when a chimney collapsed on the roof of his house.
Mark Spence, 47, died when debris from the roof smashed into his bedroom in Knight's Fold, Bradford, at 5.06am on Sunday.
His partner, a 28-year-old woman, suffered serious injuries and was rushed to hospital after being pulled from the wreckage, which is believed to have been caused by high winds.

West Yorkshire Police said inquires into the incident are underway. 
One friend, a fellow City fan, said: 'He was a really kind, genuine man with a wicked sense of humour. But that was just on the surface - there was more to him if you got to know him.
'He would discuss stuff like politics and I know he had travelled around India multiple times. What happened is really tragic.
'I am devastated by the news. I had many fantastic Bradford City away days and nights out with him. He had a great sense of humour.'
Paul Town, a fellow Bradford City fan, said: 'It's a sad episode for his family and a loss to the club.'
Another fan said his death had come as a 'massive shock'.
'Rest in peace lad - I am lost for words. Sleep tight my fellow Bradford City fan.'

Bradford City posted its own tribute on social media saying: 'We are devastated to learn of the passing of lifelong Bradford City supporter Mark Spence.
'Our thoughts are with his loved ones at this difficult time.'
A family living next next door were evacuated from their home and will be rehoused, officials said. 
Detective Inspector Claudine Binns of Bradford District CID, said: 'This has clearly been a tragic incident in which a man has lost his life and a woman has received some serious injuries.

'Work is ongoing to make the building safe and we are in the early stages of a full investigation with the local authority to determine exactly how this fatal incident took place. A full file will be prepared for the coroner.
'The family of the adjoining house will be rehoused and authorities are working to support everyone involved in any way we can.
'Road closures will be in place at the scene throughout the day as structural engineers, police and fire services continue our work there.'
Local councillor Joanne Dodds said the Bradford house which had partially collapsed was one of oldest in the suburb of Great Horton.
