A man is accused of raping his fiancee's 13-year-old sister, but the bride-to-be is standing by him.
The man, who cannot be named for legal reasons, allegedly sexually assaulted the girl at a Surfers Paradise hotel earlier this month.
He was charged with rape, three counts of indecent treatment of a child under 16, and stupefying in order to commit indictable offence.

The man's fiancee has vowed to stay with him and even footed his $5000 bail.
Southport Magistrates Court on Thursday heard the couple share a house and a business together, the Gold Coast Bulletin reports.
Solicitor Shelby Smith said the woman is willing to pay a surety and sell their car valued at $19,000 if need be.
Magistrate Kerry Magee said the alleged assault was 'concerning' given the alleged victim is his future sister-in-law.
Prosecutors opposed granting bail but Ms Smith argued he was not an unacceptable risk of offending, or failing to appear in court.
The man was granted strict bail under the proviso he reports to police three times a week.
He must not contact witnesses or be left alone with children under 16.
The matter was adjourned until September 10.
