Ukraine national football team doctor Anton Hudaev dies of coronavirus at the age of 48

Anton Hudaev, the Ukrainian national team's doctor, has died from coronavirus at the age of 48, the Ukrainian football association (UAF) has said. 

Hudaev was also team doctor for Metalist Kharkiv in Ukraine, where the virus has killed more than 1.600 people.  

'On behalf of the President of the Ukrainian Association of Football Andriy Pavelka, head coach of the national team Andriy Shevchenko and the entire football family of Ukraine, we extend our deepest condolences to his family,' the UAF said in a statement.

The Ukraine Football Association extended their condolences after Anton Hudaev's deathIn total, Ukraine has reported nearly 65,000 infections from COVID-19 since the virus emerged in Europe around February. 

Hudaev had worked as the Ukrainian team doctor since 2016, and was a doctor at Kharkiv for over 20 years.
