Atlanta police have released a photo of a second suspect in the torching of a Wendy’s fast-food restaurant after police shot Rayshard Brooks dead in its parking lot.
The Georgia Arson Control Board also offered a $10,000 reward leading to the two women’s arrest and conviction, mirroring the amount offered by Crime Stoppers.
The fire was started in several locations with a variety of incendiary devices, such as homemade blow torches, fireworks and combustible materials that were lit and lobbed inside, Atlanta Fire Section Chief James Oliver said in a news conference, reported CNN.
The fast food restaurant was set ablaze as protesters swarmed the parking lot after yet another killing of a black man by a white cop. Fire department officials told WAGA-TV that there were at least 10 attempts to set the building on fire.
Firefighters arriving on the scene said they were pelted with bricks and other objects that prevented from getting to the scene as the restaurant burned.
“We were positioned and ready just in case a fire started, but once we tried to make access and the position became so dangerous for our firefighters, there was no way we were going to allow them to continue to go in and have the possibility of getting hurt themselves,” Atlanta Fire Chief Randall Slaughter said, according to CNN. He said about 60 firefighters were at the scene.
Footage and photos show two white woman – one masked and heavily clad in black as if to disguise herself, the other wearing a tank top and no mask – squirting what looks to be accelerant through the shattered windows of the restaurant.
A bystander caught this video of a second woman.

The fire gutted the fast-food restaurant Saturday night during demonstrations over Brooks’ killing.
