President Trump supports tucking another multi-billion dollar bailout for the MTA into the next coronavirus stimulus package, City Councilman Joe Borelli told the Daily News on Friday.

The Staten Island Republican, who sent a letter to Trump last month about the MTA’s request for more financial relief, said he had gotten wind that the president is on board with giving the authority another $3.9 billion to cover massive budget holes caused by the virus.

“It will be a win for all New Yorkers,” said Borelli, who co-chairs Trump’s reelection campaign in New York. "Thank you President Trump, for hearing our plea.”

A source said the White House was expected to inform Gov. Cuomo of Trump’s bailout support Friday afternoon.

The MTA, which has suffered devastating revenue losses because of plummeting subway and bus ridership amid the pandemic, received a $3.8 billion bailout as part of the first federal stimulus bill signed into law by Trump in March.

But, with ridership down at least 93% because of COVID-19, the transit authority quickly realized it would need much more federal relief.

The Democratically-controlled House is expected to unveil its proposed stimulus package next week in hopes of voting on it as early as May 14. The legislation is expected to top $2 trillion.

The GOP-controlled Senate would have to approve any measure passed by the House before it heads to Trump’s desk.

Trump has previously voiced skepticism about bailing out cash-strapped state governments. Last week, he specifically said he didn’t want to give fiscal relief to hard-hit states run by Democrats, claiming that would be unfair to Republicans.
