Texas has further eased coronavirus lockdown restrictions, as the governor signs an order allowing water parks, food courts in shopping malls, and adult recreational sports leagues to resume with some conditions.
Governor Gregg Abbott signed the executive order on Tuesday, saying that it marks additional expansion of Phase II of the state's return to normalcy in the wake of the pandemic.
Effective immediately, food courts in shopping malls can resume service under sanitation and social distancing guidelines, including disinfecting tables after each use and positioning tables at least six feet apart.
Shopping malls also remain limited to 25 percent capacity.
