An NYPD union has raised eyebrows for calling for an ‘a-- whipping’ after an obnoxious loudmouth filmed himself harassing two cops.
The video, posted by the Sergeant Benevolent Association, shows an angry man claiming a cop car, parked at 56th St. and First Ave. in Sunset Park, Brooklyn, was blocking an intersection.
“They were parked like f--ing d---heads, but as soon as I start recording them, they pulled up," the angry man shouts in the video. “As soon as they see me walking up they pull up.”
“Sir, someone was just hit by a car," the cop in the passenger seat is heard telling the filmer.

“What’s the matter,” the other cop asked as he got out of the car.
The man was not fazed, continuing to spew a string of expletives at the officers.
“It’s freedom of speech. I’m expressing myself,” he said. “What are you, the f---ing hall monitor? The teacher’s pet?”

The union in a tweet decried the loudmouth as a “typical miscreant.”

“How beautiful if just one day people like this meet the wrong cop and get a good old fashion a-- whipping,” the tweet read.

Some quickly admonished the union, arguing it was encouraging violence against a nonviolent citizen.

Another asshole roams the streets of NYC. Typical miscreant useless to his community, mindless of thought and most likely unaccomplished in life. Harassing cops. How beautiful if just one day people like this meet the wrong cop and get a good old fashion ass whipping.
Oh good, now the police union is openly advocating for the assault of random civilians who are rude to them. Law and order, right @SBANYPD ?

Sergeant Benevolent Association President Ed Mullins said if this had happened to him, he would have given the loudmouth a ticket for disorderly conduct, but said he doesn’t blame the cops for taking a more passive route.

“The cops themselves, they did the right thing, because they don’t get the backing from the mayor," Mullins said. “Why should they take the initiative to enforce the law when all of a sudden it goes wrong, then they are the bad guy”.

The NYPD did not immediately respond for comment.
