With its amusement parks shuttered by the coronavirus crisis, Disney World said it will refund and waive annual pass payments while the parks remains closed.
Active annual passes that were pre-paid in full can be extended for the number of days parks are closed, but ticketholders will also have the option of receiving a partial refund instead, according to the theme park.
Pass holders with monthly packages will have their payments paused, and charges for the period from March 14 through April 4 will be refunded, Disney said in an update.
“This is a truly unprecedented time for all of us,” the park said in the update, “and we want to thank you for your patience as we work through the many details related to the temporary closure of the theme parks.”
