Man doing doughnuts in boat gets thrown overboard after hitting wave

A man was thrown overboard after his motorboat hit a wave while he was doing doughnuts in the Potomac River in Washington, D.C., on Sunday.
According to D.C. Fire and EMS, the man was not injured and was assisted out of the river by a passerby who witnessed the accident.
Video taken at the scene showed the boat continuing to steer itself in a circle before it was corralled.
“The occupant was thrown from vessel when it hit a wave. Occupant was wearing personal flotation device, a cardinal rule in boating safety,” D.C. Fire and EMS wrote on Twitter.
The incident occurred in the city’s Georgetown neighborhood around noon, officials said.
