Corey Comperatore, Trump rally shooting victim, remembered by fire department
The victim who died in a shooting at former President Trump's campaign rally in Butler, Pennsylvania, Saturday night is being remembered by the fire department he had worked for.
Corey Comperatore was killed in the shooting while Trump survived an assassination attempt and other spectators were injured.
"As many of you have already heard, we lost one of our members, Corey Comperatore, in a senseless act of violence last evening," Buffalo Township Volunteer Fire Company in Pennsylvania wrote Sunday on Facebook. "Corey was a lifetime volunteer firefighter within our company and will be greatly missed by all who knew him."
"Corey, rest easy brother and we will take it from here," the post continued. "Please pray and send good thoughts to Corey's family and everyone that knew him."
The fire department added in another post, "We remember and honor one of our own. A brother, son, husband, father and friend."
