Atlanta police K-9 Ben missing in the wake of running from controller's home

K-9 Ben is a 9-year-old German Short-Haired Pointer who weighs around 90 pounds
A K-9 with the Atlanta Police Office is absent after he took off from his home on Tuesday.

The unidentified APD official was getting ready for work at his home close to Bogart, Georgia, when he let K-9 Ben out of his pet hotel to stack him into his truck, the division composed on Facebook, adding that this is the pair's ordinary morning schedule.

Rather than hopping into the truck, K-9 Ben ran off into a close by lush region.

As of early Wednesday morning, he stays missing.
