  • The case relies in part on Carone's testimonyThe star witness in the Texas AG's bid to overturn the election is a former used to work as a ringside girl and amateur model, as well as being a stripper, DailyMail.com can reveal.

Mellissa Carone, 33, described herself as 'Mediterranean' and said modeling was 'her passion' on her Explore Talent page, which featured a dozen photos of herself in bikinis and bodycon dresses with teased, curled hair, and reduced her age by two years.

Two pictures show her ringside at Little Caesars Arena in Detroit in January 2012, walking around a cage with a sign raised and posing in a bejeweled bikini with an MMA belt slung over her shoulder. The event was an MMA night promoted by Joseph Donfrio.

DailyMail.com revealed earlier this week that Carone used to strip at a club called the Bada Bing in 2010, apparently under her own name.

The club was shuttered after four men were charged with torturing a man in the basement - a scene that wouldn't be out of place in an episode of HBO's The Sopranos, which features a strip club of the same name.

Carone became a viral sensation during a hearing with Rudy Giuliani last week where she gave belligerent, bizarre and widely discredited testimony detailing her claims of election fraud.

She has since denied that she was drunk during the hearing, despite her apparent slurred speech, and has refused to quarantine as ordered by the state due to Giuliani testing positive for Covid-19.

Carone's past has come to light as the attorney general of Texas filed suit this week seeking to overturn the presidential election vote in four states, with the case relying in part on Carone's testimony.

It features an affidavit by Carone, whose wild and antagonistic testimony went viral and got treated to a sketch on Saturday Night Live.

It references a case filed in Michigan supported by the affidavit, and it includes her sworn statement in the appendix for the case.

Carone testified as a star witness for Trump lawyer Giuliani, who attended a hearing in Michigan last week where her appearance went viral after she went after lawmakers and made unsupported claims.

Saturday Night Live also did a sketch where they skewered her testimony.

DailyMail.com revealed shortly after her testimony that she had only finished probation in September after being charged with a computer crime.

Police and court records obtained by DailyMail.com show that Carone was sentenced to 12 months' probation for the offense in Wayne County, Michigan, in September 2019.

The mother-of-two, then Mellissa Wright, reportedly harassed the 42-year-old victim for a period of two years, stalking her and sending her explicit videos from an anonymous account of herself having sex with her partner, the victim's ex-husband.

Investigators managed to trace the emails' IP address back to Carone and she later admitted to investigators that she was the person responsible for sending them, according to documents.

Carone was initially charged with obscenity and computer crimes, but the charges were later reduced to a misdemeanor disorderly conduct charge as part of a plea deal with prosecutors.

Her probation ended on September 13, just weeks before Election Day, when a temporary staffing agency hired Carone to assist Dominion Voting Systems in Detroit.

On Wednesday, in her first TV interview since  last week's bizarre hearing, Carone brushed off the criticism and denied she was drunk.

Giuliani had even tried to shush her at one point during her 30-minute testimony, as she asserted: 'I know what I saw. I know what I saw. If I'm wrong I can go to prison.'

'I wasn't drunk,' Carone told Inside Edition as she remained unfazed by the criticism she has received. 'I would swear under oath that I wasn't drunk.'

    'That's my personality,' she added.

Carole also told the outlet she's 'not concerned at all' that she may have been infected with COVID-19 after her close contact to Giuliani and Jenna Ellis, who have both since tested positive.

Mellissa Carone, 33, spoke to Inside Edition on Tuesday after she faced intense backlash following her testimony at Trump's Michigan voter fraud hearing on December 2. She was regarded as the president's 'star witness' despite a judge saying her claims were unfounded

She also made a series of bizarre claims to SarahPalin.com, a website that contacted her after she burst onto the scene.

She denied being drunk during her testimony. 'This is what they do to Trump,' she said. 'It's not going to work with me. I won't back down because I am very religious and I know God is watching over me.'

Then she spoke about the origins of the virus, and tied it into voting machines that Trump lawyers have claimed were rigged in a conspiracy that involves Venezuela, Cuba, and China.

'This started with COVID. The Obamas funded that Wuhan lab to make COVID. Then the impeachment process. They've used every avenue possible to cheat, they used Dominion. Dominion software was created to cheat. I have a binder from Dominion that proves this. There's so much more that will be exposed,' she said

In regards to her dancing days, a source from Carone's hometown of Allen Park, Michigan, described Carone working at the Bada Bing as the 'worst kept secret in our little town.'

They added: 'It was just such a shock to see her pop up the way she did, and monumentally hilarious.

'She was never easy to get along with, always stuck up and thought she was the hottest thing around.'
