This is the heart-stopping moment a learner motorcyclist slams into a pedestrian and sends them both crashing to the road after the biker zips around a lorry without looking.

The dramatic scene, which took place on the A23 in Coulsdon, London, left the man immobile on the ground.

The collision was captured on dashcam yesterday by truck driver Constantin Vlase.

Towards the beginning of the video, a pedestrian is seen waiting at the side of the road attempting to cross during the morning traffic.

Constantin appears to stop to let the man through, but just as he makes it to the other side of the road, a motorcyclist with a learner plate overtakes and collides with the man.

The two smash head on into each other with the pedestrian falling to the ground and rolling over.

The cyclist is thrown onto the other side of the road as his bike slides away from them.

Constantin can be heard shouting 'whoa' as the two people hit each other at force.

The two men lay on the floor barely moving as a bus approaches from the opposite side moments later.

Constantin repeatedly exclaims and can be heard unlocking his vehicle to attend to the men.

Traffic then grinds to a halt and Constantin can be seen outside the front of the vehicle on the phone to emergency services.

Another man comes onto the scene to run over to the two who remain still on the floor.

Constantin shared the shocking video to Facebook to warn people to look both ways when crossing.

He posted the clip, writing: 'So here's me today in London A23 Brighton Road having a normal morning till this happened before my eyes, happened so fast I did not get the chance to warn them.

'I am only sharing this to make people aware of the dangers of crossing the road.'

The footage has stunned social media users, with Rich Wilson commenting: 'Pedestrian should have been loony side to side and the motorcyclist shouldn't have been jumping the queue.

'Then this wouldn't have happened, hope all didn't suffer too much.'

Wayne Barnes said: 'Oh s*** hope they are both okay.'

Geoff Hillier added: 'The only person to blame here is the one on the moped.'

MailOnline has contacted the Metropolitan Police for comment.
