Officers are concerned for their welfare, particularly since Ms Antaw has not made contact with any family or friends since their disappearance.
Jackson has light brown hair and hazel eyes, while police describe Ms Antaw as being of Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander appearance, with a fair complexion and thin build.
Police have released photographs of both Jackson and Ms Antaw to help the public.
In the photograph, little Jackson smiled at the camera as he leaned against a green upholstered chair, and his light hair curled at the nape of his neck.
Anyone with information about this incident is urged to contact Crime Stoppers: 1800 333 000.
