Man, 28, fatally shot dead in Brooklyn

Kevin Moore was shot in the abdomen on Thomas Boyland St. near Dean St. in Brownsville about 10:40 p.m. Tuesday.

A 28-year-old man was fatally shot in Brooklyn, police said Wednesday.

When cops responding to a 911 call at 10:40 p.m. Tuesday got to Thomas Boyland St. near Dean St. in Brownsville, medics were already there. But at that point it was only clear that the victim, Kevin Moore, had been injured in some way.

Moore was rushed to Brookdale University Hospital, where it was discovered he had been shot in the abdomen. He died at the hospital.

There have been no arrests. Moore, who lived about half a mile from where he was shot, had been arrested once, for weapons possession in 2012, authorities said.
