Man stabs 40-year-old in stomach during argument in Brooklyn

An argument in Brooklyn ended with a man being stabbed in the stomach, which was captured on surveillance video, police said Thursday.
The fight between the suspect and the 40-year-old victim happened in Bushwick around 1:40 p.m. Tuesday on Knickerbocker Ave. near Schaefer St., authorities said.
The verbal dispute quickly turned physical on a flight of stairs near the sidewalk. The suspect, seen wearing a surgical mask, a blue shirt with a dark hoodie and black pants, pulled out a large knife and stabbed the victim one time, according to police and the surveillance video.
The two move away from one another immediately afterwards, and according to police the suspect fled north on Knickerbocker.

Emergency responders took the victim to Brookdale Hospital where he was listed in stable condition.
