A 25-year-old man died after he was thrown from his car in a fiery crash on a Queens parkway early Wednesday, officials said.
The victim was speeding south on the Cross Island Parkway in a grey Infiniti G35 sedan and was about to merge onto the Belt Parkway when he lost control about 3:15 a.m.
His car veered onto a grassy shoulder and slammed into a tree, bursting into flames. He was thrown from the car by the impact, officials said.
Medics found the victim unconscious on the grass next to his burning car.
