Since 2016, three different newborn babies have been found abandoned at the same apartment complex in Orlando, Fla. On Tuesday, police confirmed that all three of them were siblingss.
The discovery was made thanks to genetic testing, which was approved by the city council earlier this month. An infant was found in 2016, 2017 and the summer of 2019 at the Willow Key Apartments complex, abandoned in a similar matter. At least in the case of the most recent one, police said a note was found with the child explaining that the mother couldn’t keep it because she was in fear of its father.
Police did not reveal any more details about the babies, such as who was taking care of them. But they said they were working on tracking down their mother to ensure her safety and the safety of any other possible children.
