Porn site offers Joe Buck $1 million to do play-by-play, Buck turns it down

Joe Buck is not taking the mic for this broadcast.

Joe Buck has no words for this offer.
The well-known sports play-by-play man turned down a cool $1 million to provide commentary on porn videos.
“Depending on the site they could just be handing some of my money back to me,” Buck wrote on Twitter, jokingly(?) implying that he’s paid for porn in the past. “So I’ll hold out for a better offer and try to hold on to my day job. But I have to say I’m flattered.”
Buck, known for calling the top NFL game on Fox each week and postseason baseball, has been lending his voice to backyard highlights with sports shutdown because of the pandemic.
And he didn’t entirely rule out calling something more entertaining than Pat Shurmur dialing up a halfback screen on third-and-12.
“I am highly qualified as I have been practicing these calls most of my life,” Buck told Sports Illustrated, “but I don’t want to just take that job without a proper, open audition. So if they get Jim [Nantz] and Al [Michaels] and Mike [Tirico] and all the others who do what I do to audition, I’m in. If any one of them say no, I’m out.”
Who knows, with the Masters postponed until November and March Madness canceled, Nantz does have a lot of time on his hands.
Buck and his wife, Michelle Beisner, then joked about the offer from ImLive.com on Twitter, with Beisner implying she was disappointed that Buck passed up the seven-figure pay day.
