The coronavirus pandemic hit a new milestone on Monday, as worldwide cases climbed beyond 2 million since the virus began spreading in China at the end of last year, according to Johns Hopkins University.
Coronavirus cases have doubled over the last 11 days, since they hit 1 million on April 2. The actual number of cases is probably higher, however, due to both testing shortages and the possibility that some governments are falsifying their case numbers to appear less serious.
Over 118,000 people have died from the virus worldwide, with the U.S. accounting for 23,078 of those deaths. The U.S. also leads all nations in total reported cases of the virus, with more than 577,000.

  1. THe deaths are a tragedy, yes, but this is obviously, scare tactics, for the uneducated, math-challenged.

THEY claim the world pop. is 7 BILLION..so, just 2 million is a drop in the bucket.

BTW, how many have died of starvation in the last month, worldwide? Or in wars?

Or, even the plain, yearly, miserable flu?!!
