The Cedar River Logging Trestle, 203ft High and 843ft Long,Washington State, ca. 1917

Completed shortly before this black and white photograph was taken by Darius Kinsey, the Cedar River trestle, built by Pacific States Lumber Company, was exceptionally high for a pole-built trestle. A closer look shows us that the structure was built in two levels, each with a single vertical poles about 100 feet long. The trestle was built to bring railway access to Selleck in southeast King County.
