California fires do the unthinkable: Bring James Woods and Alyssa Milano together

If there’s one positive takeaway from the horrible wildfires currently raging in Southern California, it’s that people are able to put political differences aside and lend a helping hand when needed.
Outspoken conservative actor James Woods took a break from sending controversial tweets and turned his Twitter page into a place where people can get word out about missing loved ones, or for anyone seeking help for their animals.
The Casino star even reached across the aisle when political-foe Alyssa Milanoneeded shelter for her five horses.
In a follow up tweet, Woods exclaimed that despite previous reports, Milano’s horses had not been evacuated. (It’s unclear if the two privately exchanged any messages.) “Please contact her at @Alyssa_Milano to get her location or use my hashtag #SoCalFiresJamesWoods,” Woods shared. “This is a serious request.”
Woods, an avid Trump supporter, even took on a fan who asked “why the hell” he would help someone like Milano.
Friday afternoon, Milano tweeted that her horses were finally safe. She also had a message for those “who insisted on still being hurtful because our political affiliation is different.”
People thanked Woods for his help in the ongoing situation despite varying political beliefs.
Milano herself gave a thank you to Woods. She also complimented him on his efforts to assist others.
Milano isn’t the only celebrity forced to evacuate. Kim and Kourtney Kardashian also fled their homes as have thousands of people in the area. California Gov.-elect Gavin Newsom declared a state of emergency.
