Truck driver falls asleep, crashes into Marysville business

A Target truck driver fell asleep at the wheel Monday morning and crashed into a window tinting business near Marysville.

The driver will likely get a ticket for negligent driving in the second degree, according to Washington State Patrol.

The truck was traveling northbound on Interstate 5 south of 172nd Street when the driver fell asleep and the semi drifted off the roadway. The truck crashed into DC Window Tinting.

There was nobody in the building at the time of the crash, and no other cars were involved.

The driver has minor injuries.
