See Melania Trump transform into the Aflac duck in unearthed commercial

President Donald Trump just reminded the world about First Lady Melania Trump‘s big acting debut: a 2005 commercial for Aflac. Michael Porter, an Aflac employee from Georgia, was one of the American workers who met with Trump on Wednesday. “Well, your chairman I know very well, and he’s done a fantastic job,” Trump said, according to remarks released by the White House. “And they actually, a long time ago, hired my wife to do a big commercial. You know that, right? An Aflac commercial.

And I think it was a successful commercial, too.” Scramblinga to Google search what exactly Trump is talking about will resurrect the black-and-white ad in question. Melania Trump plays a “lovely woman” whose voiceis transplanted into the Aflac duck by a pair of Frankenstein-ian mad scientists wanting to give the spokes-animal more “sex appeal.”
It works, leaving the duck strutting around the operating table and Trump with the voice of Gilbert Gottfried.
Though Trump had previously appeared in 2001’s Zoolander, she had no lines, and she considers the Aflac ad to be her first acting role.
“I am very excited to make my acting debut in the latest Aflac commercial,” Trump said at the time, according to AdWeek. “Donald is known for saying ‘You’re fired’; maybe I will be known for saying ‘Aflac.’”
